<title>Does Bolt Tightening Pattern REALLY Matter Hydraulic Press Test! - BQza - современный видеохостинг</title>
		<link>https://www.bqza.online/videos/971068/does-bolt-tightening-pattern-really-matter-hydraulic-press-test/</link>
<description>We tested it with our hydraulic press.

First we tightened the bolts in the correct cross (tic-tac) pattern.
Then in a circular pattern.
Then we removed one bolt.
Then we mixed torque levels completely wrong.
And finally we torqued a bolt until it snapped.

Results were… unexpected.

In this video we test:
– 8 bolts tightened correctly
– 8 bolts tightened in circular pattern
– 7 bolts (one missing)
– Mixed torque levels (too tight / hand tight)
– 8.8 vs 10.8 grade bolts
– Torque failure in Nm

Maximum load reached: ~45 tons

Does tightening pattern increase strength?
Or is it only about keeping bolts evenly loaded?

Let us know in the comments — many of you know more about bolt mechanics than we do.</description>
